Join us as a Retail Media Instore Media Manager and you’ll be a big part of this.
Role Purpose: Do you love combining creativity, strategy, and customer insight? As our Instore Media Manager, you’ll own instore campaigns and products, ensuring they look amazing, perform strongly, and enhance the customer experience.
Key responsibilities
Campaign Delivery & Execution · Oversee all instore campaign delivery, ensuring creative approvals, high-quality execution, and performance optimisation. · Lead on the partnership with our ad tech partner, and oversee our campaign management tools. · Work with our in-house studio to create instore creative principles, templates and guidelines, ensuring these are upheld. · Provide clear campaign reporting and insights to inform strategy and decision-making. Product, Formats & Innovation · Work with the Advertising Lead to identify and shape new instore products, formats, and placements, including POS and physical in-store activations. · Collaborate with Marketing teams on experiential campaigns to enhance customer engagement and brand impact. · Work with Marketing and Campaigns on seasonal selling packs and integration into broader campaigns. Cross-Functional Collaboration · Leverage customer data and insights to inform targeting and placement of instore campaigns for maximum impact. · Collaborate with Partnership Managers and Offsite & Instore Media Managers to ensure a cohesive customer experience across channels. Commercial & Partnerships · Partner with Partnerships Managers to maximise sell-through of instore inventory. · Work with Partnership Managers on top suppliers to enhance activity and feed into strategic planning. People Leadership & Enablement · Line manage Advertising Executives responsible for campaign coordination, delivery, and reporting. · Support the development of training materials, webinars, and enablement content for internal teams and advertisers. |
Required skills & experience
Required Skills & Experience:
- Experience in retail media, instore media, or multi-channel campaign management is essential.
- Strong creative understanding and knowledge of instore formats and activations (POS, displays, experiential) is beneficial.
- Ability to understand granular data and able to translate into actionable insights
- Experience managing or mentoring junior team members.
- Excellent stakeholder management across Partnerships, Marketing, Campaigns, and suppliers.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills; able to interpret campaign performance and make data-driven decisions.
- Highly organised, proactive, and collaborative.

Sustainability
B&Q House has a biomass boiler, solar panels and a rainwater harvesting system. Our building also makes use of upcycled and recycled furniture and fittings, and features natural ventilation, heat retention and CO2 management, all via our very own weather station on the roof.
